If you have heard of 86 Soleil, or met me around town, you probably know me as the girl who delivers organic spray tans. I provide beautiful bronzed results, by appointment, to my

clients in and around Wake County, NC. The tanning solution I use is certified organic, paraben-free, alcohol-free and not tested on animals. No longer do you have to worry about an orange, streaky, smelly sunless tan, having to apply in all the hard-to-reach places, or standing around under your ceiling fan, trying to dry for an hour. I believe that the healthy alternative to conventional tanning should be just that–healthy. 86 Soleil is the healthy way to glow. Best of all, I come to you!

All skincare products used and sold here are dermatologist-tested and approved, and are also irritant and allergy-tested as well as pH-correct. Philosophy

As an Esthetician, the daughter of a breast cancer survivor, and someone who formerly suffered from severe cystic acne, my philosophy came to me through many trials, tribulations, and much research, persistence and patience. Having learned the news at 20 years old by my mother’s doctor that the cause of her disease was due to environmental factors rather than genetics was the first clue that led me to the beliefs I hold now about beauty and well-being.

Having had cystic acne for over a year, I learned through first-hand experience that acne is a condition from which one must heal from, and yet will not go away on its own, no matter how hard you wish it to be so. I have learned what works, and what isn’t worth the money, pain, or time. Throughout my studies in skin care, I’ve had the opportunity to research and understand what every ingredient is in your cleanser, body wash, conditioner or bubble bath, as well as where it comes from, what its used for, and how it works, for better or worse. I’ve done the homework when it comes to beauty, skin care and wellness products, so that you don’t have to.

 

 

The 86 Soleil Standards

Our skin is the body’s largest organ. It is also most likely the first aspect people will notice about you, it is what shows the signs of aging first, and our skin is a telltale sign of how well one takes care of his or herself. Doing all that we can to take care of it, the best we are able, is what I am here to help you with.

I am also passionate about skincare, tanning solution and cosmetics that are rich with antioxidants and free of the following ingredients:

• Animal by-products
• Parabens
• Formaldehyde-donating preservatives

I believe that wellness products, such as supplements, probiotics, protein shakes and other nutrition and wellness products should be formulated without:

• Artificial sweeteners
• Animal products
• Animal by-products

You may also rest assured that any product I recommend will take into account:

• pH balance of your skin (Products recommended are pH correct.)
• your skin tone & type (We custom blend our tanning solution to achieve a tan suited to your complexion, as well as the level of darkness you desire)

Our Clientele

 Our clients and the readers of this blog are women who are very selective about what they use, and don’t want to have to pay an exorbitant amount of money, or clear out their cabinets and shelves to start anew. They read labels. They want to choose what is healthiest and most beneficial over what is cheapest or on sale. They don’t want to break the bank, and if they’ve worked with me at all, know that they don’t have to. They care about the products they use on their bodies, and they trust that I’m going to find the best  of both worlds: value and quality.
