About 86 Soleil Spray Tan & Spa
86 Soleil Spray Tan & Spa was founded in August of 2012. We offer an organic and healthy solution to conventional tanning. No parabens. No alcohol. 100% plant materials and never tested on animals. We believe the healthy alternative to tanning should be just that – healthy! The solution is customized to your skin tone, and applied in the comfort of your own home.
We deliver gorgeous glows on the go, offering spray tanning services at your home, office, event, or studio. We are based out of Durham, NC and travel within 30 miles of the area (27701). If you live outside the area, we are happy to accommodate your location with a small mileage surcharge. We can operate in any room with an outlet, space enough for our 7′ tent and compact equipment. Please be aware the equipment is about the decibel level of a vacuum, and only on for 10 minutes in the event you have room-mates, sleeping babies, or others working in the vicinity. Also, a door to close for your privacy, is ideal for most clients.
About the owner:
Meet Raleigh’s Spray Tan Maven
If you have heard of 86 Soleil, or met me around town, you probably know me as the girl who delivers organic spray tans.
I provide beautiful bronzed results, by appointment, to my clients in and around Durham, NC. The tanning solution I use is certified organic, paraben-free, alcohol-free and not tested on animals. The solution is aloe-vera based to smooth, moisturize and hydrate your skin! And no longer do you have to worry about an orange, streaky, smelly sunless tan, having to apply in all the hard-to-reach places, or standing around under your ceiling fan, trying to dry for an hour–drying is part of the process!
I am also a NC Licensed Esthetician, and graduated from Miller Motte College in December of 2011 with a 4.0 GPA.
I truly believe that beauty and skincare treatments should not sacrifice your health–86 Soleil is the healthy way to glow!
As an Esthetician, the daughter of a breast cancer survivor, and someone who formerly suffered from severe cystic acne, my philosophy came to me through many trials, tribulations, and much research, persistence and patience. Having learned the news at 20 years old by my mother’s doctor that the cause of her disease was due to environmental factors rather than genetics was the first clue that led me to the beliefs I hold now about beauty and well-being.
Having had cystic acne for over a year, I learned through first-hand experience that acne is a condition from which one must heal from, and yet will not go away on its own, no matter how hard you wish for it to. I was able to heal my skin condition in a relatively short time period (6 months) without prescription medications or harsh chemical peels and topical medications.
I have learned what works, and what isn’t worth the money, pain, or time. Throughout my studies in skin care, I’ve had the opportunity to research and understand what every ingredient is in your cleanser, body wash, conditioner or bubble bath, as well as where it comes from, what its used for, and how it works, for better or worse. I’ve done the homework when it comes to beauty, skin care and wellness products, so that you don’t have to.
